Sometimes we receive calls from unwanted numbers. These calls most often are computerized sales pitches and fax tones.

To block these numbers, use the Yealink controls on the handset:

Step 1: Viewing the screen, and using the middle row of black buttons, press 'Menu'.

Step 2: Use the arrow keys, arranged around the silver circle, navigate to 'History' (top right hand corner) and press the 'OK' button.

Step 3: The default position is '1. Local History'. Press the 'OK' button.

Step 4: Use the arrow keys to highlight the number you want to block. Sometimes the number is displayed as a word, such as 'Anonymous'.

Step 5: When the number you want to block is highlighted on the screen, press the 'Option' button, which will open a pop-up menu.

Step 6: Use the arrow keys to highlight 'Add to Blacklist'. Press any 'OK' button (either one will work).

Step 7: Press the 'Save' button. 

You're all done. The number is now blocked.
