Adding a Coworkers Calendar

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left hand side you will see "Add a Coworkers Calendar". This will search our company directory to add to your calendar view.
  3. Once someone has been added, you will be able to turn on and off viewing their calendar from the checkbox to the left of their name.
  4. You can delete their calendar from your view by hovering over the calendar name and a X will appear to the right of their name.


Setting your Calendar to Private

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. Hover over your calendar name on the left hand side and click on > Settings and Sharing.
  3. Under the section for Access Permission you can change if your coworkers will see all event details or just if you are busy. Note this will be for all events made under this calendar.  
  4. Changes will automatically be saved.


Setting an Event to Private or Public

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. After creating an new event click on more options, on an existing event click on the pen icon.
  3. You can now change from Default visibility to Public or Private.
  4. Click Save.


Setting your Working hours

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. Click on Settings > Settings
  3.  On the Scheduling section you can choose to warn people if they will send you work invites outside your set hours.
  4. Make sure to to select both days and times or else you will be set as unavailable for that day.
