How To: View & add bookmarks in Google Chrome
Bookmarks are a great way to quickly access your frequently visited sites such as Halogen, PGi or Gmail.
To Add a Bookmark
Open Google Chrome and navigate to the website you would like to bookmark,
For this example we are using Jostle.
On the right side of your address bar, click the star icon. It could look like thisor (A Yellow or Blue star means your bookmark has been added)
A menu will appear and allow you to change the name if necessary. Make sure ‘Bookmarks Bar’ is selected under ‘Folder’.
To edit an existing Bookmark, follow these steps:
- Right click the bookmark you would like to change and select 'Edit'
- Now you can rename it or change the address (URL)
Hit save once you have finished editing
To view/hide the Bookmarks Bar, follow these steps:
In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu or
Select Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks Bar
Or press ctrl + shift + b to view/hide the Bookmarks Bar
