From time to time you may want to share or collaborate on a document with someone outside Century Group. With Google Docs you can share a document with anyone and allow them to view or edit a document. 


  1. Once you have created your document and are ready to share it, click on the 'Share' button in the top right of the window. 
  2. A new window will appear. From the drop down menu select 'More...'
  3. Then change the sharing setting to 'On - Anyone with the link', then set the access to View/Edit/Comment depending on the access you wish to grant and hit 'Save'. 


  4. Now anyone with a link to that document can edit it. You can either:

    • Copy the link at the top of the window and send it to the person you wish to edit the document or

    • Invite people at the bottom of the window. Enter the email address of the person you wish to share the document with, hit 'Send' and they will get an invitation to edit the document.
